W7s was the idea of a frustrated girls rugby coach who couldn't understand why there was almost nothing out there for girls looking to go on tour or even for girls who wanted a local event similar to those provided for boys.
That coach's passion was matched by a number of his friends, whose support helped him to create an affordable tour option, both to attend and whilst attending, where the girls experience came first.
From 250 people attending to 1200+ W7s has grown but the aim and core values have stayed the same. Woody wants to enthuse females about rugby, inspire them to be involved in rugby and empower them to be proud and vocal about their sport in order to enthuse, inspire and empower others.
W7s is now a fast selling sell out event that offers a whole weekend of rugby, music, tribute acts, special guests, food, inflatable and so much more.
