Tours are an amazing tradition that our sport has, that so many sports do not. It can not only bring together players, but parent and family members making a stronger section and club.
It doesn't matter what happens during the season a tour can have such an impact, however they can be a nightmare to plan and organise. This is why we want to help small sides or new sides benefit from a free tour and one that is set up to make planning etc a lot easier.
We will either select a handful of sides with too small (including single players) to enter W7s or to even tour or we will select a newly formed side who are looking to give their girls a tour experience.
To enter
- Create a short video explaining why they, or their team, should win the W7s27 U12s Barbarians Competition;
- Post the video on social media; and
- Tag the official W7s social media account(s) in the post so that the entry can be identified.
Entries may be submitted by:
- An individual player;
- A parent or guardian on behalf of an individual player;
- A coach, team manager or other authorised representative on behalf of a side; or
- A participating side.
